Embryo Donation

Recent estimates identify the number of cryopreserved embryos at more than half a million in the U.S. alone.  The vast majority of these embryos will never be used by the intended parent or parents since more embryos than needed are commonly created in the IVF process.  Often when intended parents have completed their family, they seek to donate their cryopreserved embryos to others experiencing infertility.  These donated embryos may be transferred to the intended mother or a gestational carrier who will carry them to term on behalf of the intended parent or parents.
